General Electric WE04X31007 Dryer Thermostat

The General Electric WE04X31007 Dryer Thermostat manages internal air temperature by providing the heating circuit on and off to maintain the drying heat level. It works by adjusting to rising or falling airflow temperature by opening or closing electrical contacts and preventing overheating while keeping a drying condition. It is installed on the heater duct or airflow path, where it interfaces with the heating element circuit and wiring harness through spade terminals that ensure proper thermal contact. Its configuration provides temperature regulation, overheat protection and controlled heat cycling within the system, maintaining safe operation and consistent drying performance.
