Description

The General Electric WD19X25637 Diverter Disc Magnet Assembly is used in the dishwasher that performs the task of directing the water to the various spray arms during the washing process. This assembly consists of a rotating disc and embedded magnet and is located in the sump region below the lower spray arm and functions to allow one, or the other, of the spray arms to be supplied with water at any one time. It makes use of the mechanism of changing the flow of water to make sure every rack and area within the dishwasher is cleaned. In case the disc is worn out, clogged, or the magnet is weak, water might not be diverted correctly and the cleaning results.
